Victor Biton has always loved telling stories. as a child and later as a doctor, his stories have always been rich in imagination, wit, and unrelenting silliness. his mild-mannered alter ego works as a board-certified neurologist specializing in epilepsy. however, in his favorite role of grandfather, Biton loves to infuse humor into every aspect of his storytelling. He and illustrator Alissa Creno are working on the next book, always inspired by grandchildren Verona, Theo, and Ira.


Alissa Creno grew up in upstate New York, where an imaginative an idyllic childhood with her close-knit family turned into a lifelong passion for art. After getting a 3D Digital Graphics Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, Creno worked for Mattel's American Girl as a Senior Digital Art Designer. As her love for creating artwork for children grew, she moved on to become a children's book illustrator, where she has completed multiple books. Creno combines color, originality, and humor into her work. She also loves to paint portraits of pets, watercolor whimsical landscapes, and create cut-paper craft-work to being joy to any space. She currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
